2. Your rights at a glance

You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), as well as the right to object to processing (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)). An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient to exercise these rights.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (processor). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. The provider is:

When you visit the website, data (in particular your IP address) is transmitted to the host. Hosting takes place on servers in Germany; this does not involve any transfer to third countries. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing our website securely and efficiently (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider (Art. 28 GDPR).

Server log files

The host automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These usually include: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to ensure the website is displayed correctly and kept secure.

4. Contacting us

Contact form

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name or company, email address, requested service and the content of your message) in order to handle your enquiry. The data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on our servers at Hetzner (see section 3). In addition, we send your enquiry by email to dispo@silverbones.gmbh and an automatic confirmation of receipt to the address you provided. Emails are sent via our mail server (SMTP). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data marked as mandatory is required to process your enquiry.

Enquiries by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), is stored and processed by us in order to handle your request. The legal bases are Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR as described above.

Storage period

The data you send us when contacting us remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. once your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods under commercial and tax law, remain unaffected.

5. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect the contact form against automated submissions, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. When the form is submitted, a script from Cloudflare is loaded that checks whether the request comes from a human. In doing so, Cloudflare may process your IP address, browser data and a technical assessment. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. It is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in protection against misuse (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A transfer to the USA is possible; Cloudflare participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

6. Audience measurement (Umami Cloud)

We use Umami Cloud for the anonymised analysis of how this website is used. When a page is opened, a script is loaded from cloud.umami.is. No cookies are set and no user profiles are created. In particular, pages visited, referrer, browser type, device type, operating system, screen resolution, language and approximate geographic origin are recorded. IP addresses are not stored permanently. The provider is Umami Software, Inc., USA. It is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of website usage (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A transfer to the USA is possible. More information: umami.is/privacy.

7. External content and links

All images shown on this website are delivered directly from our own server (see section 3); no images are loaded from third parties. No external fonts, maps or social media content are embedded. The exceptions are Cloudflare Turnstile when the contact form is submitted (section 5) and Umami Cloud for audience measurement (section 6). We also link to the following external services:

Instagram

We link to our Instagram profile (@slvbones_riggers). This is a simple link; no content is embedded in our website. Data is only transferred to the operator (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) when you actively click the link. Instagram's privacy policy then applies: privacycenter.instagram.com/policy.

Google Maps

For directions, we link to Google Maps. This is also an external link without embedding; data is only transferred to Google (Google Ireland Ltd.) after you actively click. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

8. Data security

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" in your browser's address bar.

9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
